Winter on Plan de Corones. For us, this means: Get up and onto the skis and boards! Whether skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing - this is the place for winter sport!

The end of November marks the start of winter sports enthusiasts' favourite season in the holiday region Plan de Corones. Now, in winter, Plan de Corones is celebrating its grand comeback as one of South Tyrol's largest ski resorts. If you are looking for snow-covered forests and a tranquil winter landscape, grab your cross-country skis or snow boots and explore the cross-country trails and winter hiking paths in the surrounding area.

Skiing

The popular Plan de Corones skiing mountain is conveniently located right on our doorstep. Just a few steps to the lower cable car station, grab your equipment from your personal ski storage – and off you go! No lugging around, no searching for parking spaces. Instead: carefree skiing days in one of South Tyrol's largest ski areas, sunny slopes, an impressive 121 kilometres of pistes and 31 state-of-the-art lifts, rustic and lively ski huts, a snow park for freestylers and two museums on the summit plateau – MMM Corones and Lumen, for all who need a break from skiing.

Cross-country skiing

There are numerous opportunities for cross-country skiing on the many trails directly in Riscone and the surrounding area. The 5.5 km long free circular trail at the Riscone sports zone – just 100 metres from the SENNER – is definitely the quickest and easiest way to get your workout in on skis. If you are searching for trails through unspoilt nature, you will find what you’re looking for in the nearby cross-country skiing centres of Dolomiti NordicSki in Valle di Anterselva, Valle di Casies and in the higher up Riva di Tures.

Winter hikes

Yes, you can absolutely hike without a winter sports kit! There are countless opportunities to explore the winter world around our local mountain, Plan de Corones, on foot. Romantic walks through snow-covered forests, winter hikes for the whole family or guided snowshoe hikes for those who dare to venture into more challenging terrain. Many alpine huts are also open in winter and, in addition to a warming meal and a steaming cup of tea, offer tobogganing for the descent.

Three new holiday apartments.
