Welcome to the SENNER. Once a working farm with livestock, arable fields and its own dairy, the Senner is now a holiday home at the foot of Plan de Corones in Riscone. With an old barrel vault in the entrance area and three new holiday apartments with views. And with insights into the farming tradition of Val Pusteria. Our cows spend all summer on the alpine pastures, there are apple and pear trees on the farm, and we grow potatoes and vegetables in the surrounding fields. A love of nature and living in harmony with nature continue to define the way of life in this special place.

Mountain tops shimmering in the evening sun, the aroma of alpine pastures, snow-covered forests. A bite from a crunchy apple, picked fresh off the tree. Clucking chickens and fresh eggs for breakfast. Giving and taking in tune with the seasons. At the SENNER, nature has always set the pace, defined the work on the farm and shaped the way of life. This is still the case today.

Yes, it’s true: The SENNER is just a stone's throw away from the Plan de Corones lower cable car station in Riscone – that’s really close! So close that you can reach the lifts and cable cars of one of South Tyrol's largest ski areas in just a few minutes on foot. In the summer, Plan de Corones is a popular hiking mountain with attractions for the whole family - and a hotspot for mountain bikers and passionate Enduro cyclists.

We are the SENNER!

The Senner in Riscone is a place with history and with roots. Generations of hard-working farmers, craftsmen and hosts lived and worked here before us. Today, everything we do revolves around the sustainable cultivation of fruit, potatoes, vegetables and herbs. And yes, it is possible that you come across a happily clucking flock of chickens roaming the farm.

The SENNER holiday apartments are situated in the immediate vicinity of the lifts and cable cars of the skiing and hiking mountain Plan de Corones. The village centre of Riscone with shops and restaurants is nearby, and the beautiful old town of Brunico with numerous shopping opportunities, cafés, bars and restaurants is only a few minutes' drive away.
